A Bit About Me

I've been building and working with wood for roughly the past 25 years.

It all started in the mid 90's. A couple years after an Honorable Discharge of eight years , I bought a duplex in Central Maine. During those early years, working with a local craftsman, I maintained each home.

One day an old friend got me into building construction full time in Southern Maine. There was no job to large or small for the General Contractor we worked for. Being a crew of three, I was exposed to all phases of frame to finish and renovations.

A couple years later while visiting the Downeast area, I met my wife. Now twenty plus years later, Our "Forever Home" is in Hancock with two teen age daughters, a cat and dog. My idea of down time is spent with the family. Whether it's keeping up with a volleyball schedule, volunteering at the school or simply plucking on my guitar in the living room.

On Somes Sound, I got into messing about boats. All the while taking on home projects during nights and weekends.

For 20+ years, I've had the profound pleasure of building, repairing and renovating some of the most beautiful homes here in the Downeast area of Maine.  I also enjoy spending time in the shop. Where I've built several projects from cabinets to small furniture. Basically, making man glitter and always looking forward to future projects.

Feel free to give me a shout and let's work on bringing your vision and dreams to reality. Or simply renovate those areas of your home that may have been put off long enough.

Gallery

This Gallery is of projects that I'm proud to say I've been a part of.

Each project may have a set of challenges to overcome and in some ways are welcoming. However, there's something to be said for when you can stand back with the rest of the crew and admire a job well done.
